The Narwal Freo X Ultra is one of the top robot vacuum and mop combos I've ever tested. Its base station features a large dustbin and water tank and its dual rubber brushes are less prone to hair tangles than single bristles.
Its mopping efficiency is exceptional and its AI mapping is a success in the midst of obstacles. It can also pause the cleaning process and resume from where it left off.

It comes with the largest mopping capacity and a camera that can be used for improved obstacle avoidance, and a powerful vacuum with the ability to sense the carpet it is stepping on. It also has advanced technology and voice assistant features.
It performs impressively as a vacuum and mop, completing our 1,500-square foot test area in a mere 101 minutes before running out of battery and returning to its dock. Its mop automatically cleans itself between uses. This reduces maintenance costs while keeping the pads clean. Additionally, there is a dock sensor that detects when the mop's pad is dirty and prompts washing to keep it clean.
Like its predecessors as well, like its predecessors, the S8 MaxV Ultra features an intelligent system that recognizes household objects including pet waste and shoes using a camera + LIDAR combination. It did well in our test of obstacle avoidance with just one minor glitch in my testing (it was stuck when unwinding a wool ball that was wrapped around its brush arm).

4. Dreametech X40 Ultra
The Dreame X40 Ultra robot vacuum and mop is the company's latest flagship model. It has several distinct features that the less expensive models do not. It is a powerful suction and mop floors effortlessly. It also comes with many advanced features, such as self-detangling roller brushes and auto-extending mop heads. These features make it a great option for hands-free cleaning. The X40 Ultra offers automatic cleaning of its base station and dust collector filter. The mop pads are automatically cleaned and drained in hot water. After each cleaning session, the water tank will also be emptied automatically.
It has some advanced options for customising the cleaning schedule, such as selecting a time to start and end each cycle, or deciding if it should vacuum carpets prior to mopping. It can be programmed to clean up areas that are dirty and to increase its suction around pet litter and food bowls. The X40 Ultra is programmable to perform specific tasks, for example, cleaning a bathroom toilet or kitchen sink. It can be programmed to automatically lift the front side brush whenever it detects wet spots, and to clean up debris from corners and baseboards.
The X40 Ultra has a simple user interface that offers a variety of features. It is easy to use and set up. It is quieter than many corded vacuums. The only noises are the occasional low hum of its motor, and short intervals of sucking during cleaning. Its navigation system, which makes use of cameras, 3D structured lights, multiple lasers and a 3D structured light to locate and avoid obstructions and obstacles, is awe-inspiring. 5. Eufy S1 Pro
The Eufy S1 Pro is an extremely powerful vacuum and mop combo that has been designed to be easy for users. The S1 Pro has excellent navigation and mapping capabilities, thanks to its internal dToF system. It is able to maintain a low-profile while still providing excellent detection of objects. It can be driven close to walls without hitting them and avoiding steps, and it can also raise its mop when it drives over rugs and short-pile carpets. However, it did struggle in the presence of carpets with a longer pile and also several large, thick piles of dried-on debris.
The S1 Pro is ready to be used right straight out of the box and it only needs just a few minutes of mapping to learn about your home. After that, the map is displayed in the app and rooms can be added or joined as needed. You can also set virtual boundaries and no-go or no-mop zones if there's something you don't want the robot to be able to touch.
The S1 Pro does a great job of cleaning up spills from hard floors due to its rotating mop head that puts 2.2lbs (1kg) of downward pressure on the floor. Its ability to vacuum and mop is a great choice for homes that have two types of flooring. However, its reliance on Eufy cleaning solutions (which are included in the box) could make it less flexible as other robots that permit you to include your own cleaning solutions.
